SAT Score Jump From 1500 to 2300-2400?

Guys I am taking the SAT two times this year one of it is on March 10. The 1500 score is without me studying any Critical Reading, Writing, or Math. But I do quite proficiently in vocabulary. I know its hard, but I am willing to work my and brain and a** off for it,

The Resources I have and am currently using:

Dr. Chungs SAT Math
Silver Turtles SAT Guide
Barrons SAT 25th Edition
Quizlet Vocab
SAT Q’s of the Day

Is there any other sources I can use. I know it is possible, what else do I need to do!

It’s definitely possible. I went from ~1800 to 2310 (super score); it just depends on how hard you want to work.

Can you tell me how you worked please?

I’d like to know about this too.

Bump, I need some help.

No, hard work isn’t enough to score in the 2300 range. Intelligent work is a more appropriate term. That means, practice smart, go over each wrong answer, review adequately, and begin identifying the repeating patterns for wrong answers, especially in Critical Reading. These are some very basic guidelines on how to prepare right, in general. The whole ‘two practice tests a day and 100 memorizing vocab words!!!’ strategy is bound to fail, whether from the lack of showing results, or from motivation burnout sooner or later.

The fact that you made a thread asking if it is possible makes me doubt that you will break the 2300 range. Coming from 1500, you will need lots of practice, and you don’t seem very confident. Also, most people capable of achieving a 2300 are capable of using google, or the search function on this site. Since you are asking for sources, it seems you aren’t exactly capable of using either of the above.

Sorry if I come off as a rude person, but I am just tired of seeing these threads. Instead of asking people if you can do it, why not actually try and see? I also get very irritated when people ask for “guides” or “sources”, there are AT LEAST 4-5 threads guides on the SAT on this site, and about 3 of them are stickied. So if you can’t spend some time to look for those guides, which will help you tremendously with your goal, then don’t even bother trying to aim for a 2300+.

I think you can get to maybe 2000 with a ton of practice…but from 1500(which is, IMO, not even college worthy, but most beg to differ) to 2300(1% of all students graduating) is not likely. If you had the capabilities to do this, you should have already started studying and seeing vast improvements, but you probably haven’t yet, and you have taken the test twice, getting a 1500 both times.
At the end of the day, the SAT is 25% intelligence (which you really can’t study) and 75% skill(which you definitively can). So an 1800 is easily attainable, the last 600 points must come from your intelligence. But since you scored a 1500 the first time, don’t expect another 500 to come from that intelligence.

There is only one word and trick to a great sat score: practice
The SAT is a formulated test, which means that its question types repeat. The more you do them, especially for reading and writing, the better you get.
It should be really easy to go from 1500-2000 or 2100, but for that last 100-200 score boost, you really need to set your mind into it. You need to dedicate your time to study and practice over and over every single day.
There really aren’t much more sources that will be any better than the ones you already I have. I personally used majortests.com for studying for my SAT. They have lots of practice problems with explanations.
Just remember, the more you practice, the better you get.

Wish I could sticky your response, SAT100…

what do you mean by sticky a response?
