SAT score sending issue

Hello, I have a question about a big issue that I faced when submitting my SAT scores. I put my information instead of the credit card holder’s information on the billing address in the payment section when ordering my SAT scores to be sent. Now both show status pending. I reordered the same score to be sent again with the right information on the billing address. My question is what will happen to the score report with the wrong billing address. is it going to go through and show up as sent on my side or not?

It likely would have rejected when you ordered it - bad credit card transaction (address not matching).

But if went through then they’ll send two and you’ll have wasted a few bucks.

No harm.

How do they send two of the same scores ? Also, I forget to mention that I when called they said that there is only one score that’s showing up on their side. How is the one with the wrong billing address going to go through?

It’s a score report.

As I noted, it may not have. The transaction might have been cancelled because credit card verification checks for addresses.

Either way, if you paid for a score to be sent to a school and the credit card processed, it will go.

You can have mom/dad check their credit card billing online - and see if you got charged once or twice to know if it went through.

If it did not go through, then will college board still see that score report on their side or will it just not appear on their side. I am guessing then the score report for that college that College board is seeing on their end is the one with the right billing address, because I submitted it twice?

When did you order it? Sometimes charges take a few days to process, especially on weekends and holidays. You can try to contact collegeboard or any of the schools you requested the scores be sent to if you really think the order hasn’t gone through.

I ordered it today and I called college board about this. They told me they are only seeing on score for that college on their end, and I am “safely” assuming that this is the one with the correct billing address, but I am not really sure.

They are seeing one. You just ordered today. You are fine.

Most you submit a score this early or dies your school allow self report.

That they see your request shows the one went through.

I assume you also got a confirmation email or message after submitting.

I did get a confirmation email saying that I submitted it, but I am still really worried as to which one went through, the one with the right billing address or the one with the wrong one. This is also because both of them show status pending on my side. If the wrong one is still showing on their side, it’s definitely a big concern. Do you know if customer service might be open to tomrrow, because it’s new years eve?

It’s to time school. So why does it matter which went through ?

Do you have a deadline to meet ? Most, not all, allow self scoring.

I’m not understanding why you are nervous.

You submitted the same thing 2x and one evidently went through.

Have mom/dad check their credit accounts on line. It will show there as pending. That will then go through.

I do have a deadline in a few weeks. I will call college board again tomorrow around the noon and give you an update, maybe?

I think you’re worried for no reason. You submitted twice. Once went through.

Many businesses are closed until Friday, some even Monday. So be patient if they don’t respond.

But from what you are describing there is no issue.

Not sure why you don’t look at your pareNTS CC on line. As it is, College Board confirmed they got one of two.

So follow up but no reason to lose sleep on this one.

I think I will my dad’s credit card account when he comes home. Also, thinking about it, they told me they see only two scores pending. Another college that I submitted a score with the right information and the college that I am talking about. So, maybe the issue isn’t that bad.

I also think you are fine.

Do the colleges you’ve sent official score reports require official score reports? If not, save the money and self report either on the app or in the portal. Check for all the colleges on your list. Good luck.
