Hey, well i’m in Pace University right now and it sucks (DON’T GO THERE), i really want to get into Baruch since they have a program of my interest however, i have a terrible SAT score (i lived in Mexico and we never took the SAT’s serious)! And i’m really worried that this is going to lower my chances of getting in. I also took the IB, but i think this is unimportant to the states. Anyway, what is the average SAT score needed to get into Baruch?

If you’re going to Pace, then a decent GPA (3.2-3.8) should suffice, regardless of your SAT scores. Baruch sent me a few flyers and ads to attend their open houses and tours, and my SAT scores were 680 Math, 670 Writing, 540 CR. So, it totals to 1220/1600. Anything above 550 avg/section would be good for Baruch, but since you’re a transfer try to focus on your current studies and build your application in a way that says “my SAT scores don’t mean much now, do they?” (Meaning, get alot of As and Bs and you’re good to go.) Good luck!
