SAT score too low for ivies?

<p>i know you can make a judgement just based on scores but how do they look and should i retake for a brown female:</p>

<p>SAT v700 m710 w750 e12 (1440 in old terms)</p>

<p>i think he added them up and set up a proportion with respect to the old scale x/1600. I’m not sure that’s how you do it. Most people have been just using the verbal and math scores, but Princeton Review actually takes your math and writing score, averages them, and adds it to verbal.</p>

<p>So instead of a 1480 I got a 1495…like 1500 based on
V 770 M 670 W 780</p>

<p>I’m not sure how they’re going to do that. I really hope they do pay attention to the writing score though and at least treat it like a subject test.</p>
