SAT score worries

Hi Guys,
I have took SAT without any preparation in January, and disappointingly, I have only acheived 590 in verbal part and 670 in Maths Part.
I have enrolled the June SAT, and I have prepared a lot for the test such as taking up lessons. However, my teacher has told me that I might get delayed if my score goes above 1500. She asked me to deliberately alter a couple of answers. I feel like it do me a huge injustice and disservice as I have prepared a lot, even striving for a perfect 1600. I have scored an 8 in IELTS, it’s just that I have never done the SAT before, and with the Jan to May, 4 month gap for improvement. How likely will I be in trouble? If I am likely to get delayed or even cancelled, should I follow my teacher’s advice?

To declare I have not done the essay and will not either. Thanks for all your help in advance.

I have never heard of anyone being asked to deliberately get questions wrong. I would just try your best.

Exactly. I was told if I got up to 1500, I might be in trouble. As I am taking it outside the US, this is my last chance. I am particularly worrying as the previous practice paper I have done, have achieved 1550+

I would say go all out. Even if your test gets delayed, you will be able to prove your way out of it by retaking. Getting a few answers wrong intentionally would be unrepresentative of your actual score, so there is no reason for you to be dishonest about it. If you can make it once, you can obviously make in the range again.

On top of that, you will be hitting yourself for weeks if you end up scoring a low score because of your intentional missing.

Not really. This is pretty much a last shot as I am not using the SAT score to apply US unis. I need to get a good score and not get delayed or cancelled
