SAT score

Just received January SAT score. I want to apply to top schools (Harvard is my first choice REA). But, I don’t think these scores are good enough.

December: 710 CR 800 M 670 W
January: 660 CR 780 M 720 W

The only reason I took the January test was to raise my writing score, and I did by 50 points which is awesome. But, if I send these as a superscore, the college will see the 50 point drop in reading, which is imperative to poli sci/history.

I have been practicing some ACT tests, and I got 33 on reading and writing, and a 35 on math on my first try. I feel confident that I could do much better if I put the same amount of time I put into the SAT into the ACT.

Should I focus on my next two subject tests or should I go for the ACT? I really don’t like the format of the new SAT so I will not be taking the new SAT.

Scores seem decent.
Don’t bother retaking and stop stressing out. Enjoy your final year of high school.

@MathHater

I’m a junior. I’ve got time

@bsdsj22

Then even better. Enjoy your time in HS. There were just so many people at my HS stressing out about the SAT at my HS. It was so sad just seeing them cram 24/7 for the exam while I just slacked off and partied and still ended up at better colleges than them.

bump

I’d focus on the two subject tests, 2230 is a good score. You’ve got about a year. Good luck.
