SAT Score

Super huge problem if GPA is very high? Is it at all possible that SAT Lit scores can help “compensate” (word taken with a grain of salt) or grades in IB Literature can assist?

In short, if everything else is strong, will this hurt very much?

Can’t be that bad. I got in with a similar spread but even lower total, I wasn’t an athletic recruit or have any other hooks or anything, just a good GPA and such like you said. I’m sure if you have a strong application that one score won’t be the breaking point.

No it’s fine. Especially if you’re an SEAS applicant no worries.

It’s fine. Generally 700+ on any section of the SAT I or II is acceptable. And 680 is so close to the “threshold” that it shouldn’t cause any trouble for you if your other areas are strong.

lilyrobin, what part of NH are you from? i’m from NH, too!

Cool! I’m from Wilton! Small town near Nashua and Manchester. I see you’re from Hanover! We played you guys in sports! (If you went to the public school at least, I went to Souhegan in Amherst).

yeah, i definately remember playing souhegan in tennis.

Collegeboard shows middle percentages of scores - you still make the cut. There is a solid 25% of the CU population that have scores in a section or two hovering closer to the 640-50 end.
