hey guys,
i’m gonna be a sophomore in this upcomming semester
i’m an international student.
i took psat last year and got 1320/2400
so far my gpa is 4.0
not taken any ap or honors classes
i want to get into nyu mostly
but still interested in getting into boston univ. or columbia univ. as well

so here are my questions
- are there any huge difference between psat ans sat?
- if i take sat now, what would be the estimated score be?
- what are the score range for the colleges listed above to get accepted?
- what is the best way to the better score?

The scores should correlate pretty well. Only different is that the SAT is longer and there is an essay section.

Should be about the same as your PSAT, probably a little higher since it has been a year. But you can review the test and raise it even higher.

NYU and Boston need probably at least 1800 (I think international requirements are about the same). Columbia is much higher since it is an Ivy: at least 2100 (if not much higher).

Get the blue book (official SAT book) and review the questions. The more questions you are familiar with, the better your score will be.

1320… You should lower your sights…

Okay guys
thank you for the info
i better get started with sat prep
thanks again! :D
