Many often say that SAT scores will be good indicators for high school seniors’ performance in college.

Since Princeton began a Quintile Ranking system to rank its students at the same time it started a deflation policy in 2004, I was wondering if anyone has seen any data related Quintile Ranking to SAT Scores. I am asking this question to concern my possible future rank in this “new” system no other ivy schools currently have. I am a pre-med student with SAT 1590 (2360) and concern about my chance to be in the first quintile with possible grade deflation.

According Princeton Website, the average SAT score for 2009 Class (1220) is 1460 with 730 in Verbal and 730 in Math, and no data net for 2010.
