SAT scores by state

I was thinking the other day, mostly about how everyone at CC has the most amazing SAT scores that I’ve ever heard of, while at my school 2100+ is a really good score (and my school is not low income, is diverse yet predominantly Caucasian, but it is public in CA, and right now CA is so broke that they had to close school in some districts a week early because they couldn’t afford to pay for the lighting and the teachers). So to gather some data and see if there actually is any correlation between state, public vs. private school, and SAT scores, I was wondering if people wouldn’t mind posting their stats in a list. Thanks!

The sample size will be insufficient to garner any reliable general conclusions.

Just look at NMSF PSAT Cutoff’s by state. That will give you a pretty reliable metric to gauge which states are academic powerhouses and which ones are not.

The College Board has data on all of those things. Check their Web site.

*** is the point of a ■■■■■, exactly?

oops, wrong thread, sorry.

Thanks, can’t believe I didn’t think of that
