SAT Scores Competitive in lieu of ranking?

<p>My SAT scores are:</p>

<p>730 M
720 CR
740 W
2190 total</p>

<p>I understand that these are around the average for tufts (i got a handout at a session that was like the average math and cr were around 720).</p>

<p>However, I am ranked 15/361 in my class mostly because of bad 8th grade grades that shouldnt count but they do in my stupid district haha (my GPA is 96.5 but my hs gpa w/o those grades is around 97.5). my grade is mad competitive so that 1 point really cost me. </p>

<p>anywho, how much are my chances lessened because of this?</p>

<p>Not lessened. They will look at your transcript, not an average that includes 8th grade grades.</p>
