SAT Scores for Early Notification

When do SAT scores have to be submitted by for Early Notification? I took the SAT on Saturday and I’m having them sent to USC. I already have taken the SAT twice and have scores on my official school transcript, but I haven’t had scores officially sent to USC yet. They won’t get there until mid-late October (I think around the 26th: Whenever SAT scores are released.)

Do I need to go ahead and pay to have my scores officially sent before October 15 or will they arrive in time? Or will they be able to use my official school record ones for the time being?

And what about ACT scores? I didn’t do so well on the ACT… Do I have to submit those scores? It says that it requires all tests attempted to be submitted. Do they look at more than just the composite score? And do they only take the better score?

Edit: Stupid question on my part about having to submit the ACT scores… They don’t want any omitted. So can this hurt me at all? I’d prefer them to only see my SAT scores…

It is hard to know for sure and instead of me steering you in the wrong direction, call them tomorrow! The admissions office is really helpful and can answer any of your questions and give you advice on when to apply, what to send, ect.

AUgirl, your question about the submitting ACT scores is not studpid at all – please post information on what you find out.
