SAT scores sent - Did I act wisely?

Hi!

I just sent my SAT scores to my colleges. My scores were:

October 2009: CR-610 M-750 W-680
December 2009: CR-670 M-740 W-730

I was like: should I send them both, so they can see my progress and my 750 for Math? But then again, 740 and 750 is the same: I got 2 questions wrong on each test. So I decided to just send them my December scores… I mean, those 10 points wouldn’t have helped me right? And also, I didn’t want them to see that 610 on CR.

So, what do you guys think? You would’ve done the same, right?

I would’ve done the same:)

Usually, colleges record your highest scores and ignore the rest. So, it’s a pretty pointless thing to worry about.

I did basically the same…

May 2009: 640 CR/ 750 M/ 680 W
Dec 2009: 760 CR/ 740M/ 730 W

If they say they superscore, it shouldn’t matter whatsoever. And sure 10 points is virtually nothing, but it can’t hurt.

So Blitzer, you just sent the last ones right? =)

Oh and I cant believe we both had the dame Math and Writing scores, and improved them with the same number… I know, not important, but still. Wish I had your CR score though…But concgrats!!

No, I sent both… 10 points is 10 points:P It can’t do anything but help.

And yea… that’s crazy haha. Thank you:)

Honestly, I still think ten points on the SAT makes no difference whatsoever, especially if you’re already in the 700 range. But it really doesn’t matter either way.

Don’t worry about it, your CR and Writing sections jumped a lot, whereas your math score barely decreased. At least your still in the same range for math so it’s all good. (:
