SAT scores

Is it bad if I submit my scores about 15 days after the deadline? I know that this seems liek a stupid question but do they really take it that seriously?

colleges don’t really have STRICT deadlines for SATs, but still, the earlier the better - if only so you have peace of mind

You haven’t been very specific but if I read btwn the lines. You are requesting that CB send your SAT scores 15 days after the application deadline to your college? Why bother asking if you need to have the scores sent it doesn’t make any difference…you must send them.

Do admissions committees take things seriously: YES YES YES

nmo the sat scores were due on jan 1st, but i just sent them

If the SAT scores were due on Jan 1 and you just requested they be sent, you missed a deadline. You could call the school and tell them that your scores are being sent. They will not process your application until they receive the scores…could be 3-4 weeks unless you had them rushed.

Did this come to your attention because the college notified you about your application not being complete? Apparently the college does need your scores? Some schools don’t require the scores so that is why I am bringing it up.
