<p>I have done my first ever official SAT and I scored a 1410. That is very low but are my chances of going to college dead?!?! I know I’m not stupid because I’m in AP and even Concurrent classes.</p>

<p>Should I try the ACT? How is it different from the SAT?</p>

<p>I will try to get my GPA and class ranking as soon as possible.</p>

<p>If this helps I do want to major in Kinesiology.</p>

<p>for a book you can go through quickly to get an understanding of the sat+practice: collegeboard blue book</p>

<p>imo,</p>

<p>act is more “knowledge you learned in school”
sat is more “raw iq/reasoning”</p>

<p>if you feel sat really isn’t your thing, try act</p>

<p>remember that although tests are important, they aren’t everything.</p>
