SAT scores

Hi
I want to know the average SAT 1 scores of admitted students.
And what SAT2 did you take? What are the scores? and GPA?

You should look up the SAT scores on Collegeboard or Princeton Review. People won’t have them memorized or anything. Though I do happen to know that the average GPA is a weighted 4.0. As for SAT 2s, take what your best at. If you’re fluent or near fluent in a language that may be the best bet. It may also then place you out of the language req at Scripps, should you be accepted/decide to attend. I took math 2 and US History and got 720s on both.

collegeboard lists the average SAT 1 scores of admitted students??

I don’t know about the Collegeboard but the college guide books publish the middle 50 range for both the SAT and ACT scores of admitted students. My daughter, now a sophomore, took the ACT and so did not need to take the subject tests. The average GPA means much less as it really depends on what high school you attended and the rigor of your course load. For example, the HS my daughter attended has grade deflation. It is one of the most difficult schools in the state and they award very few A’s. Knowing that, she was admitted with a 3.5, a very strong GPA from that school. However a woman with a 3.5 from a less challenging school might not fare as well. One thing we found is that Scripps really does look at your whole application and evaluates for fit as well as what one might bring to the community that is unique. Good luck! Scripps is a wonderful school.

Yeah, college board does detailed profiles of all colleges. I don’t know if the forum will let me link or not, but [College Search - Scripps College - SAT®, AP®, CLEP®](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

Just search the college, and then under SAT, AP, CLEP section it will tell you mid 50% scores and what not.

Ah Thank you!
