I’m looking at schools like Northwestern, Yale, Penn State, and the George Washington University. Are these any good? Should I send them in or not?

If you have unusual circumstances, 650s would be okay. Other than that a 700 is considered the lowest end of the acceptable spectrum and you should try to offer 750s

for ivies a 700 is minimum. But for most other, even respectabel schools, a 650+ is good. i heard anything below a 650 is not rlly so good. and below a 600 forget-it.

but dont sweat. u can retake almost all the subject tests like every month, u can definetly pull than 630 and 610 or wtvr over the 650 line, if not 700

Man, I can’t believe you guys are worried about missing a few questions. I missed at least 12 questions. And that is being VERY optimistic.

The silver lining is that I know my physics pretty damn well, and am pretty sure that every answer I did put down was correct. Only is issue is that I have OCD, and unfortunately it affects me when filling out those kinds of answer sheets. I obsess over filling in the bubble completely every time which slows me down. Also, my OCD makes me reread the questions typically about 3 times each, so its kind of a double whammy for something like the SATs.

Last time I checked, MIT’s mid-range was 760-800 for math II and 740-800 for science. So I would say you’d need about a 750+ for a school such as Yale.
