Hi, I am feeling bad to have scored only 690 in SAT Math level 2 in my 2nd attempt, which came as a shock to me as I thought I had done well. So, I am trying it again in Jan.

a) Will colleges know how many attempts I have made? Or will get to choose and report only the attemp/score I want?

b) I had studied Official SAT Study guide collegeboard book and practiced relevant problems from Barron’s guide and . Any advice on how/what else to prepare would be greatly appreciated.

c) Is there is a way to get the questions-answers of my last exam, so I can find out where I went wrong? Collegeboard does not seem to provide this information for subject tests, from what I understand, but I would like to confirm.

a) no unless they require all sat tests then you will have to send them ALL of them but most schools honor score choice
b) google, sparknotes, additional practice tests
c) nope

The Barron’s book is excellent. Not sure what you mean by “practiced relevant problems” in the Barron’s book. All of the problems are relevant. Typically, students who score in the 690-700 range on the Math Level 2 test have issues doing the Barron’s problems accurately and efficiently. I’m going to guess that you didn’t do all of the questions (7 practice tests + section practice questions) in that book…under time pressure.

hagzzz gave reasonable answers to your questions.

My advice:
Do all of the questions in the Barron’s book under time pressure. Yes, the questions are more difficult. It will force you to learn how to think quickly and find the most efficient solution.
