SAT testing Option

So, My guidance counselor told me that in order for me to dual enroll att my local community college, I have to take the SAT. She suggested I take the March 10th one. However, I was looking on CB, and I saw they’re giving it on may 5th also. So the following are my questions:

At my school we graduate in the month of May. So, my counselor said to take it in March because it will be more than 2 years since I had taken that SAT test before I graduate. Is this true? Will colleges not see SAT scores that are older than 2 years from my graduation date?

If colleges do see my scores when I was a sophomore, do you think I should take the SAT in March or in May. Also, please explain why. BTW, I feel really prepared (score ranging somewhere between 2000-2100), so it’s nothing like I haven’t studied or anything else like that.

If what I’ve said doesn’t make any sense, forgive me, because i’m just really really tired. :)

Colleges can see any of the scores you have if you want them too, scores do not “disappear” so to speak.
Second, I suggest you wait till end of sophomore year or beginning of Junior year anyways because you will have more experience/knowledge under your belt anyways.

^but my school is making me take the SAT in order for me to be able to dual enroll. If I, personally, had a choice, I would wait until junior year. But you see my dilemma…

and do you think I should take it in March or May?
