SAT tests in October and December

I’m taking the October SAT and I also ordered the SAT Question and Answer service. I’m also taking the SAT in December so that I learn from my mistakes from the October SAT. The colleges that I’m applying to have the SAT deadline by the end of December and I know my scores will be out by then.

My question is: how will colleges know that I will be taking the SAT in December if college applications end in October and November? If my October SAT scores are bad will they not reaaaally consider me even if my December SAT score improves?

Also, I took the SAT for the 1st time in May but I never sent the scores because I thought they were low and I wanted to improve (1410). I’m still able to send them but if I do, won’t colleges wonder why I took so long?

It depends on where your applying. I would’ve sent your May score just so that the application process goes along faster and usually on the application you’re able to indicate whether you plan to retake scores and when.
I just took my first SAT October 3 and I’m a senior this year applying to 4 colleges. I have no idea what to expect of my scores and am anticipating the release of them on the 22. I also got the QnA service and plan to register for ACT and SAT in December.
