<p>So I’ve been studying a lot of SAT vocab and I’ve noticed that a lot of books and websites only give short, 2-3 word definitions for each SAT word. Should I have a deep understanding of each word (long in-depth definitions) or is a basic grasp (short 2 word definitions) of a word enough? The reason why I’m asking is that I’ve noticed that I tend to overthink a lot of the critical reading questions. The SAT uses words like ironic or sardonic loosely, but I’m very particular with words, so I end up crossing correct answer choices.</p>
