SAT what is the best technique to read Long passage?

hi guys!
I’m international student and gonna take the SAT in 28th Jan, just 12 days left. I’m having trouble with reading the LONG PASSAGES, in fact can’t decide how to read it.

  1. Barron’s “SAT 2400” says that best tech is to read the long passage peace by peace: Read 1st peace and answer Questions about it, read next peace answer Qs …
  2. Kaplan SAT premier says best tech is to read actively: read wholes passage, but take note on the margin after each paragraph then answer all the Qs
  3. Some ppl say the best way is to quickly skim the passage and read the Q, find it from passage , read the context and answer the Q
Just 12 days left so i don’t have time to try all tech.
Would you guys please tell me which technique you use and your score.
For example: I use 2nd method: read whole passage actively write brief summaries and answer Qs. But i only got ~500

Method 2 is the best, but writing summaries isn’t always needed(wastes time)

It gives you the whole idea of the passage instead of focusing only on certain parts.

Method 3 is a bad idea imo because to get enough context to safely answer the questions you’d have to pretty much read the whole thing again

Method 1 has always worked well for me.
