Q1) I was in Ethiopia on a field (expedition. I was camped on) the edge of a small muddy river, about a hundred miles northeast of Addis Ababa.

Answer : i but I chose i**

Q2) Which words should be inserted after the best in sentence 8 to clarify the meaning?

Answer : i but I chose i*.*

Q3) Where in the essay would be the sentence below fit most logically?

Answer : i but I chose i**

Q4) The rocks and boulders that littered the land scape had bled away most of their heat during the night, they no longer felt like stoves when you stood next to them.

Answer : Change THE ROCKS to BECAUSE THE ROCKS but I chose Add BUT before THEY NO LONGER

Also I believe “but” would suggest a contrast but there is a correlation between the night weather and the heat next to the rocks.

Q3. Just makes more sense as part of the day, as you can’t clarify what type of weather it is? Only that the heat close to the rocks was gone at night.
