<p>Hi, I am new on the forum and I have a junior who will take the test in May. His critical reading is decent on practice tests but he needs a LOT of help with writing. I have been reading a lot on the SAT forums and understand that everyone recommends the College Board book but he needs explanations. He has a good ear but needs a lot of tweaking and did not do very well in his grammar class Freshman year. Does anybody know where he can get good explanations? He has looked at Silverturtle’s guide and found it helpful but he has trouble recognizing how to apply some of the rules to the test. Any ideas would be appreciated.</p>
