<p>My son is applying Art Undecided, regular decision, and I was wondering how important the admissions officers would consider the writing score of the SAT for art students? My son scored fine on CR and CM (560 and 570), but low on writing (470). He took it twice too. He has great grades, all honors and AP classes and a GPA of 3.8. He’s an Eagle Scout with tons of community service/leadership and community service and art awards. I was wondering if anyone would like to weigh in on his chances of acceptance? He had a good review of his portfolio at National Portfolio Day, but he still has to submit his portfolio online for consideration and acceptance. I think his chances are good, except I’m just worried about this SAT writing score. </p>
