boo. the writing was tricky and i thought i did so well on it! >:(

I still think it should be changed to “had created”? You have two actions in the past going on in the sentence so the action that comes before has to be in the past perfect no?

@anon i dont think this is same question…although i think mine has some date in the 1960s?? although mine talked about him gaining recognition later…

frankly, i don’t remember this question…except for the oil paints. that rings a bell but i can’t remember anything else. i think “had created” is appropriate? b/c he received recognition in 1965, and he painted the pic before that.

I got 3 wrong now so far ■■■.

Did you guys get a question in the ten question section about “variety shows, musicians, actors, etc.” Was this also no error? Was it three no errors for the 10 question section.

@bob

Your question has already been answered…I’m not sure if this is an accidental submission, but it is likely one.

Bob what do ypu think about the artist question with the thick oil panting?

Do you think the question about the paragraph improvement with answer choices of “this explains why” and “for example” and “in addition to” will be eliminated from the test? That one was so confusing

I’m still freaking out about changing to “like” at the last second… Is 1 wrong 12 essay still an 800? I got 3 wrong 10 essay last time (June) and a disappointing 730. This one must be an easier curve, right?

Guys
For the end passage about chess, how did you eliminate “Added to which” for the best transition? I was stuck between “In addition” and “Added to which”, both of which seemed like good choices. Anyone want to explain their rationale for either choice?

@bob what were other choices? I think i put “in addition” because while both are grammatically fine, i think “added to which” sounds a bit more awkward.

@iBelieveSo
The other choices were useless. There’s no point in considering them.

What did you guys put for the painter gaining recognition with his painting with thick oil one?
