I took SAT twice, and both time were very ugly since I didn’t even attempt to prepare for them. But now the problem comes up.

I saw lots of you said that universities don’t like student who took standardized test for more than two times. And by “ugly”, I mean it even would be better if I just keep them in the closet!
So, how bad could those two tests influence my application? It’s like a 1400+, a 1500+ and the third time is a 2300+. What should I do?

By the way, is there any way to register twice on collegeboard?

Let me see if I understand your question. You took it twice and got a 1400 & a 1500. Is the 2300 in your question what you think you will get if you take it a 3rd time? First, I don’t think it is bad to take the SAT 3 times. I know a lot of people that have done this & got into fine colleges. Second, it is not very likely that you are going to score a 2300 with those 1st 2 scores… even with studying. The 2300 type test takers would have scored higher than your score even without studying. However, if you put some time in studying, you should improve…just not 800 points.
