Okay, so this year I completed an introductory chemistry course using apologias “exploring creation with chemistry”. I enjoyed chemistry and since i’m home schooled I decided I should take the SAT2 chemistry subject test to validate my learning for both myself and for my resume. I took one of the practice tests from the college board site and quickly discovered that the apologia book had not been comprehensive enough to fully prepare me to take the test. So I plan on taking the test in October or November of 2012, and would like some advice on how to prepare. I’ve heard that the barons “How to Prepare for the Sat II Chemistry” is good but would the information be sufficient for someone who’s never seen it before to learn from? Or is it more just for review? Also is there anything else i can do, besides taking and studying the practice tests, to prep for the test?

Thanks in advance,
