SAT2 in December as a Senior?

Hello,

I plan on taking the SAT2 Subject tests Biology M and Math2 (and maybe spanish) in December. Is that okay or is it a waste of time if I am a senior?
I plan on applying to Cornell and Columbia and they require 2 SAT subject tests.
Any other info or advice will be appreciated.

Thank you

Depends on when the application deadlines are for Cornell and Columbia

Cornell regular deadline is January 2nd…so it really depends on when the december test date itself is.

If it’s “more” than 3 weeks ahead of January 2nd than you can do it for Cornell, because it takes 3 weeks for scores to be up online.

maybe spanish? Your Spanish includes ‘listening’ plus writing? If so, it is offered in November only…

Also…
December SAT test is on 5th. You get on-line test results on December 22nd, and so do your univs.

However, collegeboard warns as follows: “Remember colleges may take additional time to retrieve or process your scores. Also, some colleges don’t accept scores by Internet delivery, and these institutions will not receive scores until they arrive in the mail. Please check with specific colleges to understand when SAT scores need to be received to meet application deadlines.”
