how is 670 on SAT2 in chem? should i retake?

brown is top choice but would be very happy at high second tier like u chicago
What do you want to major in? And I’m not too familiar with Browns scores but I would say that a 670 is below their averages, but on the other hand most schools don’t weigh the subject tests as heavily as gpa, sat 1, act, etc so it’s up to you to decide if you need the extra bump from the subject tests or if you think your application can handle it, it also depends on how much you think you can improve above a 670
You could retake it. Getting in the 700s is a lot more impressive for really good schools
You should definitely retake. 670 is 57th percentile, insufficient for either Brown or UChicago if they require subject tests.
