So, I applied to Yale but I still have some questions…

I didn’t report my SATII scores because I didn’t know I needed them for Yale, and they weren’t the greatest. I just checked Yale’s site and it said that they accept scores from the January tests, so I plan to take those and then have college board submit all of my scores (because Yale doesn’t do Score Choice).

I got a 670 in literature and a 610 in mathemateics level 1.
I got such a low score in math1 because I forgot my calculator so I had to leave some questions blank which required specific values for sin and cos of angles and such…
Does anyone know if I can explain this when I submit my scores?

Also, I’m feeling very nervous about my application and was wondering if I had any chance at all of getting into Yale.

(took twice, best scores:)SAT: CR:750 W:800 M:680

GPA is unweighted 98.5 (does anyone know what this is on a 4.0 scale?)
also, I am valedictorian as of now in my class 1/121

courseload: I’ve taken all the AP courses that my school offers except AP stats and I took a college class online from UMaine Orono and got a 91 for a grade. I haven’t sent that transcript anywhere yet though because the grade hasn’t officially come out yet. I attend a small public school.

Essays are pretty good in my opinion, but I don’t know about my recommendations. My teacher ones should be good, but I only got to read one.
About my guidance counselor recommendation: I had 1 guidance counselor for two years, and then a different one for junior year and the very beginning of senior year. He didn’t bother to tell me that he was moving to a different school, so I got a brand new guidance counselor the third week of senior year. I met him, and asked him to write me a recommendation on the same day, so he knew absolutely nothing about me as a person when he wrote it.
