SATIIs = bane of my existence!

It looks like everyone on this forum were elated with their scores except me… i’m happy, somewhat, but not really:

Math2c: 720 (the only decent one, but math is supposedly my uber-strongest point :(!)

Writing: 600 (exact same as last time)

Chemistry: 600 (up from a crappy 490 last time - which was my first time)

QUESTION FOR YOU GUYS:

Do you think I should retake them again in January? All of them? And how much do you think my score would go up?

I need to know asap because i’ll have to find money for it somehow… :(

hey yeah just give it another shot.
can’t really tell you how much yr scores wld go up.
you would know that best. it really depends on how much preparation you put into this test in the first place.
and it also depends if how selective your unis are. are these scores good enough?
if not take it again and increase yr chances.
that’s what i’m doing too =)

You shouldn’t retake writing (I’m assuming you’re a junior) since you can proly pull off a much better score on the new SAT writing section (assuming your MC is already strong). If you don’t retake in January the next test date is May for SAT IIs.

If you’re a junior, I would wait until June to retake the SATII. It also depends on what types of schools your aiming for.

i’m not a junior - hence, the stress! :(

You’re NOT a junior? Will it really matter then? Don’t waste your money.
