SAT's

Im going to boston college for my freshman year, but i’d like to transfer out of BC. I know that colleges look at sat scores when you transfer, but i would like to know if I am able to retake the SAT’s while in college.

just curious, why do u want to transfer out of BC?

well, when i applied, my “dream” school was Notre Dame, but i was rejected. I would like to get into Notre Dame for my sophomore year. My parents were also disappointed with my rejections from college and really wanted me to go to Carnegie Mellon or Notre Dame.

Does it matter more that your parents are upset, or that you’re upset?

Also, transfering is a great plan, but don’t let the idea of going somewhere else keep you from enjoying the year you will spend at BC. I was not admitted to a selective magnet school in our area, and I made plans to transfer in after my freshman year when I was rejected. I made friends at the school I am going to, liked my teachers, and did well. After a year, I saw no reason to transfer. Just keep in mind that you can push yourself and work hard anywhere.
