Saturday predictions

Time for some Saturday SAT predictions. Post all of the scores you’re hoping for…I think it’s just about time to do something of the sort. I’m only taking the SAT I, subject tests can wait for later. I’ve done a bit of prep, and my scores on three practice tests: 1490, 1540, 1570. First time sophomore year was a 1270 (before i had adv. pre cal behind me, and adv. alg 2). My math will definitely be above 750, verbal…i have no clue. [my prediction: 780M, 650V]

let’s see what everyone else has to say! (i’m so corny)

i dont wanna predict because i dont wanna be disappointed but i hope to improve … hehe …but im hoping to have a good day saturday. i wanna be chillaxed and confident.

Writing should be higher than 630 <==that was last year.
Spanish… i am screwed

Eh. I just hope I don’t bomb it. =P

Math should be higher than 660 and Verbal higher than 560, does that say anything? lol
Those were my scores in June :-</p>

I wavered between retaking it or not, but I decided against it. 1320 will just have to satisfy UCONN. :stuck_out_tongue: Hee!

Best of luck to everyone taking it! I’m crossing my fingers for all of you!

800 V and 800 M

hey, a lil optimism doesn’t hurt, does it? :)

you’ve never read Candide yet then. My LA class is reading it right now.

Lol, Candide… seriously the most disturbing book I have read in a long time. The original French version is one of Voltaire’s most riveting works! Great read, all in all.

I totally agree. That book gave me whiplash and a really bad headache, not to mention paranoia in the face of optimism. And then we had to write a paper about it. Coherently. Two pages. In the passe simple.

You read candide in french? the hardest book we read was le Petit Prince

le petit prince is what AP French students read at my school

No, no, not at school! gasp That would have been killer - if I had had to write two pages on it in coherent French, I doubt I would have slept for days working on it and searching for the right tenses  I’m self-studying French, though, for the AP French Language exam. My weakness is grammar, but I love reading, so there’s a certain charm to a multiple choice test. ^_^

ill pry wake up at 10/11 and then find a good movie to go to, study a little and then do other stuff and then go to sleep, nort sure if this is what i am going to do but it is a predicition, lol

I think I’ll pull my 640 math IIC up to a 680, and my writing from a 700 to a 740.

I’m hoping for 740 writing/ 770 chemistry, but (based on baron’s practice tests) it’s looking like it’s gonna be 690 writing/ 740 chemistry. Oh well.

hopes :
Math IIC 800+
Writing 730+

Nov. 2004 690M (what the ?) and 690V (very good for me)

so…for satuday’s im hopin 800M and 700V but thers no way im gettin a 1500!
so ill predict 770M and 690V = 1460 thats more reasonable

chem2sat- 300

its so hard!!

740 math and 700 verbal, hopefully.
