Hey,

So basically right now with the grades I have I do not have the potential to get in a high level school such as an Ivy league one or USC or UCLA etc., highest I could get in is a Boston University or a Purdue. ** My question is, would you think it’s a good idea for me to go in-state so I would save some money and then possibly try and transfer to a better school later on /b or should I try and get in as good of a school as I can right now? Because I studied abroad for a year and a half my GPA is quite low, 3.2 while my SATs are 1910 (I should be able to improve them by at least 100 points next try possibly even more).

I know that I should go to a college that I wouldn’t mind to say in for four years in case I do not end up transferring. I would apply to colleges in New England but they are very expensive and I would end up with huge debt by the time I graduate and since I plan on going to Law School after college I don’t think that that would be a good idea.

So do you think it’s a good idea to stay in-state to save money with the option of possibly transferring out later on or would you suggest that I go out of state already? The difference is that right now I could get in a Boston U while after a couple of years in college if I’d have the GPA for it I could try for a Cornell or UCLA.

If that helps any then I am in Washington State which means my realistic options that I might be interested in would be:
Gonzaga University
Seattle Pacific University
Washington State University
Western Washington University
Central Washington University

I know that Gonzaga and SPU are private colleges but it’s still way cheaper than paying 50,000$ a year for Boston U and I have the potential to get some scholarships at both of these schools

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Sorry if my post was kind of chaotic
