<p>Northwestern U. If accepted there, you will be in Professor Hemke’s studio whether your emphasis is jazz or classical. You also have the benefit of Northwestern’s fine academic offerings.</p>
<p>In addition to Northwestern, in the midwest there are excellent saxophone teachers at University of Michigan, Lawrence University(has had many national competition winners), and UW-Whitewater just to name a few.</p>
