I am going to be a freshman at UCLA. I ask for a single room but I got triple room at saxson suite. How are the triple suites at saxson. If I want to apply for CAR what is the best choice. Can you
pls. Rank.Any help appreciated. Thxs.

Saxon (no C) suites are the quietest housing type, least social.

It is very unlikely that a freshman would get a single or a double.

If you apply for a CAR (and I think you should so you make more friends) you want to pick the housing option right for you. Plazas (sunset village is the quietest) have private bathrooms and generally better conditions and slightly less sociabilty than residence halls which have shared bathrooms and smaller rooms (except for De Neve hall) (Hedrick will be mainly freshmen next year if you’re looking for that).

Suites aren’t generally recommended for freshmen.

I’d say best choice for living conditions vs sociability would be De Neve hall but you probably won’t get it (plus its supposed to be mainly upperclassmen). I’d recommend the halls for a more social experience.
