I did something new and a little scary: I was interviewed for a national podcast. I wish I could name it, but it gave too many personal details so I won’t, not even to friends. But the hosts were kind and I don’t think that I sounded too bad. I guess I’ll hear when my interview airs!

No no no!!! It hasn’t snowed here in weeks. We got a little snow overnight, and now they’re predicting a snowstorm on Saturday, the day of the surprise birthday party we’re throwing my husband. I’ve seen snow amount predictions like 1-3", 2-4", 3-5", and 8"!! I don’t know what to do. Postpone until Sunday? I guess I’ll wait until late this afternoon and decide then. This is the kind of decision I would usually make with my husband!

Southwest airlines, I was hoping when your new tickets came out it would cause the other airlines to lower their prices, not increase them. I was counting on 5-600 per tix, and instead it’s 7-800. I know, first world problem.

No, Cinderella’s castle at WDW did not burn down. For the love of Pete, please pay attention to your sources. The originator of this fable clearly says they’re a provider of fake news. It would have taken you 10 seconds with Google to confirm the veracity of that story. Just because you saw a video on T-T doesn’t mean it’s true.

I was on a bus ( love public transportation) and sitting in the front where it’s reserved for elderlies and handicaps. 4 elderly people got on, immediately people started getting up to let those 4 people sit. One over weight woman got up, and I got up. Meanwhile this 40ish big guy just sat there looking at his iPhone. Sheesh.

Mom, when you said to me how would I feel if I had a sick child, I’m sorry I erupted.
Because I do have a sick child. Just because she’s done with chemo and radiation, it doesn’t mean that’s it over. No she won’t be considered “cured” until 10 years have passed without an occurrence.
But yes I do feel bad that my relative has to deal with a sick child. Just as I do. It’s just that everyone forgets. Always.
I’m sorry that you don’t think you can make it to my kids wedding. And that’s it’s the hill my sibling is willing to die on to get you there. But I can’t solve everything. And I can’t make my sibling act in a way that is helpful. I’ve tried. I can’t.
But you could make this easier.

Today my Informed delivery shows I will be receiving something from a court officer in NJ, but the receiver’s address is a Payroll Garnishment office in Texas.

Now our power is out! We have a generator to run lights, well pump, and refrigerator, but we have no heat. Well, Mainers are hardy. We can have a party tomorrow with no heat if we have to. I hope DH feels loved after all this!
