You say that you want to come visit w/your kids before D24 heads off to college so they can spend time with their cousin. Yet you won’t tell us the specific dates you’ll be here. Once again, you have proved yourself to be the most flaky and unreliable person I’ve ever met.

Love is in the air. Today is our 24th anniversary and I got a very sweet gift…I’ll share what was written with it…
Anybody that knows us knows that music has played an important part in JustaMom’s and my life. It was music that brought us together. Therefore, we created a music CD to give out to the guests at our reception. This was back in the day before Apple Music, Spotify…. Heck, there weren’t even MP3 players. Napster was sort of helpful in the endeavor, but I needed to actually buy CDs for some of the songs. We physically handed our guests each a CD that we created. It was a lot of work putting them together, but was a labor of love. So, this year I created a playlist for Apple Music (coming soon to Spotify) that you can play and hear the music that we put together to show our love for each other and share with others.
To be fair to the songs and to be fair to each other, it’s in no particular order except alphabetical by artist.
Coincidentally, “our” song, “I still feel the same”, which Deblyn, Connie, and Dana played for us at the end of our ceremony, appears last due to their band name, Zoey’s Trip.

I’m visiting my son and DIL at their home. Arrived Friday 6/28 and staying until 7/8. I’m amazed at how competent my son is, at just about anything he attempts. Who raised this kid?!!

Now I understand why Gen Z uses the term “touch grass.” Too much time consuming social media, CC, “news” from any source, cannot be beneficial to one’s mental health or to creating or maintaining a positive outlook on life. Saying this as much to myself as to anyone else. Time for another hobby, perhaps.

33 years ago my eventual wife and I baby sat my 3 month old nephew for our 3rd date as his parents went out for their first “post baby” date.
My now 6 foot 6 nephew and his wife just stopped by to go to the beach with their one year old, pick up their house warming gift and tell us their second baby is due in January.
Amazing how he has matured while we have gotten old😀
