Really?
Well, you were supposed to be coming to repair our deck and re-stain it. You get here and you’re fixing the ceiling in our master bath. Glad we can be flexible, but now I guess we are home all day… A little notice would have been great.
What a weird surreal week it’s been.
Not sure it’s going to change either
Im hungry and don’t know what to make
I have been stress-eating for more than a year, through my mom’s major fall, then recovery and hospice and now all the details of selling her house, etc. I keep thinking that I will find equilibrium and feel less stress, but after today I know that I won’t be less stressed until November, if I’m lucky. I guess my goal should be to contain the damage to 10 pounds.

Shannen Doherty passed away. Fought cancer for 9 years. A warrior.
On a lighter note, last night my love asked if I’d like to go out to dinner. I said yes, and he asked “where would you like to go to have some fresh fish” - without skipping a beat I said “Hawaii” -

Why do you always have to add something about yourself - or your mother’s brother’s daughter-in-laws cousin?
Some days you just need to get some perspective about what really matters in life. I got mine for today when I heard about the mother and her 9 & 12 year old boys from my town who died in a car accident on their way home from a family gathering on Saturday. I didn’t know them, but it doesn’t matter. The tears are flowing, and I’m thinking about what matters most in life … for me, family.
After 7PM and still 98 degrees? Nope, this isn’t Alabama and it’s a continent away from Phoenix . Poor pup won’t get much of a walk this evening.
Pot, meet kettle…
What an absolutely sad commentary. You really think that way?
