The boot camp pop up, is annoying because it’s hard to close out. Sometimes I have to try to close out 3 or 4 times. And you have to scroll down to get the x to actually work.

Why does it have to pop up every time I visit?

In the middle of bathroom remodel and stressed by worrying that I’ve not made good choices and by being dependent on contractor’s/sub’s timeline and knowing I will have chaos for several more weeks. I know each day is precious, but I find myself wishing the next 2-3 weeks away hoping to be done.

Please make him a job offer. The stress of unemployment is taking its toll on all of us. Fingers crossed

I spent three days intermittently looking for what was causing what I can only describe as a ‘wind chime’ sound in my house. I heard it intermittently day and night in different areas of the house. I searched every electronic device I own. Nothing. (I ended up changing the alarm system eyes on 2 ceiling smoke detectors because they were blinking too fast. But, I knew it did not make that chime sound.) Well, H got a notice on his iPhone that our dog’s Apple tag battery was low. Sure enough that was it! The apple tags are one year old.

Invite is a verb. Invitation is a noun.

I’m getting more and more scared that you are “losing it”. On top of your ADD, that is not a good thing.

Watching the Olympics in our bedroom but distracted a bit by some whirring, rumbling sound that sounded even a bit like a printer warming up……

Searched a bit ….and then eye the new baby monitor we recently set up for our dogs’ crates area (oldest dog is 13 and I worry about her at night)….and sure enough the baby monitor (that is out of my eyesight and sitting atop DH’s nightstand side) is picking up the sounds of my afternoon dryer load!!

I would think that a community relations specialist would actually have the communication and people skills to not alienate their community members. Passing the buck and not taking responsibility is not a good look when dealing with the public.

Not getting involved in that crazy again.

Learned my lesson the last time.

And seriously I am helpful to those who help, not to those who take

It took two days, but I finally got home this morning. I was supposed to be home Tuesday…but thunderstorms just didn’t make flying on time possible.

Thank goodness for a good friend who lives near the airport who picked me up so I could sleep for a couple of hours.

But…WTH…my flight was at 5:30 am and they say to get to the airport two hours early. So I was there at 3:30…but the Southwest kiosks weren’t yet on, and no one was at the counter…until almost 4:00. I could have slept an additional hour!

Good grief. You had it all. A committed, hard-working husband who’s been a responsible & involved father to your 3 children so you could be a stay at home mom. And now, just 2 months after your youngest graduates from high school, you drop a bomb on your family and you’re getting a divorce and have decided you’re running away to Europe for the next year to teach english as a 2nd language. Pretty much walking away from your entire family. Meanwhile, your youngest kid starts college in a couple of weeks.

Whatever the heck is wrong with you, I hope you go see a psychiatrist at some point. And you probably need a therapist, too. Because you’ve done a lot of damage to your kids with this stunt. What the heck happened to you? Years ago, you weren’t like this. But now, you’re just full of anger, bitterness, sarcasm, guilt-tripping, manipulation, and a cornucopia of toxicity.

Hope it’s worth it because you might never be able to repair the damage in your relationship with your kids. You have totally messed this up.

But we’re still friends with your soon-to-be-ex-husband. And we’ve invited him and your 3 kids to our house for Thanksgiving this year. Because the first holidays after something big like this are hard. And because we’re not bitter, selfish buttholes like you are. Have a nice time in Europe. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

I don’t know why I’m surprised at the incompetence of various bureaucracies. I could do without the stress and the lengthy hold times, though.

As I did my physical therapy this morning watching the Olympic “race walking” in Paris, I couldn’t help but giggle thinking as I watched these men from behind, they walked like a pack of Welsh Corgi’s in a hurry - my they look funny as they wiggle forward!

My friend asked for help delivering lunch to her MIL (MIL lives next door and they deliver meals most days) as friend has COVID and they don’t want to spread it to anyone. I was in the neighborhood so got her a $5 deal from McDonald’s. MIL was SO happy and kept saying ‘this is a real treat.’ She especially enjoyed the coke! She is 101 years old and I think she deserves a Happy Meal every once in a while.

I despise CEVA Logistics but am stuck dealing with them once again. They were a no-show for our delivery appointment and failed to communicate with me that they rescheduled. I spent nearly an hour on the phone today, mostly on hold, to find out what was happening. I was already dreading dealing with their local driver since the last time their driver refused to perform the inside delivery service for which I’d paid until I got both his dispatcher and the retailer on the phone to set him straight. I had email verification of my delivery service but he didn’t want to see it and wasted about 45 minutes sitting outside my house, idling his truck.

From now on, I won’t make a purchase if the seller only uses CEVA Logistics/CEVA Home Delivery for shipping. There’s nothing I want that is worth the hassle.

Why does every Tesla driver feel the need to cut off other drivers and act stupidly while driving?

The vain license plates also tell me that you’re thinking you’re better than the rest of us because you have a Tesla?

It’s a car. It’s a car. It’s a car.
