Another school shooting.
All those affected, the ripple effect…I’m affected and I wasn’t even there! Truly my ![]()
I naively thought Sandy Hook would be the straw that broke the camel’s back in terms of free flow of certain types of guns in America—boy was I wrong…
Not being political, being pro-kids.
Dearest friend,
You are so challenging at times, but I love you anyway. And you give me good food for thought.
I don’t take this for granted and didn’t have any other reason to be suspect but THANKFUL for a clear colonoscopy and no need at this time to repeat for another 10 years.
Your “do loop” of indecisiveness is driving me crazy. I’ve given my opinion. It won’t change. Don’t ask me anymore. “Am I making the right decision?” doesn’t mean anything if you refuse to actually make one, take steps towards it and stick to it.
Cue Chappel Roan’s scream… “I told you so!! I told you so!!!”
I miss the days of the 3-4 week college winter breaks!
So nice to be home again. I love you, dear. Buying my salads so I can be back on my regular diet today made my day. All the decorations are up, the house is clean, the bed sheets clean and fresh. Ahhhh.
Taking care of the medical appointment stuff while I was gone saved me from so much anxiety.
And I lost a pound on the trip, so only a couple more pounds (Doable!) before the pre-surgery check next week.
One of my favorite places to be and it’s an odd one:
The JAX airport is sooo pleasant with its grand piano player volunteering his/her time.
And my oldest is arriving any minute.
I love it. Happy times.
My cashier at Trader Joe’s today had to be in his mid-80s. Good on TJ’s for being willing to hire someone his age (he’s new to the store). I think TJ’s deserves a huge shout-out for that. I sure do hope, though, that the gentleman was working because he wanted to rather than because he had to.
Why is it that when I borrow or rent a car and go to the gas station I always pull up on the wrong side of the pump? Statistically speaking, I should guess correctly half of the time.
No, I didnt know we attended an apostate church that is allowing Satan to rule the country. Huh. Because the organist is gay? Somehow I am not, in fact, going to miss you. Enjoy whatever you find back there in the dark ages. Yeesh.
I am so proud of you. I know this is a thread where you can’t say the thing directly to the person, and I tell you that I’m proud of you all the time, but you are a grown-ass man and you don’t need me gushing all over you so you will never know HOW proud I am of you!!! ![]()
Would it be too much to ask to have all the cars functioning properly at the same time?!? I’ll be glad when the “kids” can buy and maintain their own cars, and we won’t have the headache of keeping an entire fleet of vehicles running.
Can’t he ever get a break?
You are such a GRINCH!!! ![]()
I’m surprised and delighted that you enjoyed yourself.
Why does the power always go out in the middle of the night…in the middle of the winter…on a super cold night? How about noon in April? That would work better for me!
Trying to explain to my kid that they might need to get to the airport extra early tomorrow ![]()
She was like who did what? Why? Then a oye!
Thankful for the help and support of my sweet D the last few days as I have been navigating minimally invasive back surgery on Wednesday. She has her hands full with 4 1/2 year old and 15 month old and FT job and I hate asking for help, but don’t have any other family here. Lucky to have a few supportive friends in my condo complex as well, but most help comes from my D. I’ve always heard the second day after surgery is the worst and I think that’s been true for me, so looking forward to tomorrow!!!
