I get it every once in awhile because a piece is beyond bringing back but can we PLEASE stop throwing paint on so much beautiful wood mid century + furniture! I have been looking for a mid century-ish credenza for over a year but everyone keeps slapping paint on some part of it! Imperfections are fine! It’s old!

Definitely a simple vent. Why is it always so hard to do anything at a bank beyond a simple deposit/withdrawal transaction. I have a super small traditional IRA (very low 4 figures) that came due today. I’m finally cleaning up and consolidating my accounts. I want to directly roll it over to my bigger traditional IRA at Morgan Stanley. I just need them to cut me a check. I have the form to send it to Morgan Stanley all filled out. I’ve been here 30 minutes while he pokes at the computer, tries to call someone and repeat. He also has a sign on his desk saying 15 years of service. Surely I can’t be the first person to do this?
The same thing happened when I rolled over another one 6 months ago. I assume eventually he will figure it out and I’ll be on my way?

Why will we be giving massive tax breaks to corporations for reducing employment? Aren’t tax breaks supposed to go to those companies creating jobs and doing the hiring? This is a financial question, not political but if you need to delete it, please do so.
