Ds2’s gf reached out to me via IG msg. Now we are going back and forth, but I don’t know when to stop. I don’t want to not respond lest I look rude, but if I keep responding do I look thirsty? Who’s dating her, him or me??? I’m not used to being so measured/calculated, but I really like this one and don’t want to scare her off!

Sis, I’m really happy for you and your husband, moving out of state after living in Austin your whole life. I’ve told you that, but I haven’t said I’m also kind of sad, because I have very few ties to the city anymore. 
Once Dad passes, I really won’t have much reason to visit.

You miserable squirrel. In spite of the Sabadogs best efforts to keep you away, somehow you are able to climb the window and help yourself to the window feeder. My cardinals, my catbird friend, the chickadees and the Carolina wrens had just started to visit regularly. Bah humbug.

We always had an American flag flying by our front door but last year it finally had to be retired. I bought a new one today and now can’t find the flagpole!

So… former classmates- I posted pics of a few things from the “wayback machine” that I am happy to bring up this weekend to our big reunion, and I offered to give away the 2 alum car window decals that I have (that are in our original school colors, before they changed them) and one person asked for them both? That’s a bit, err… bold. Well, now 3 people want the 2 that I have. I am tempted to give them to the 2 that were less greedy, but instead I have asked you three to figure out which 2 of you gets one (well its actually 4 people interested since one who asked is part of a couple who are both alums, and personal friends.. so they are sorta on my short list). Waiting to her who get them. I am not comfortable making this decision.

Other - start telling the truth about the status of financial commitments you’ve made to your siblings.

Folks, it is a BBQ grill, not a crematorium. So happy you were done with the cremation of whatever dinner you planned so I can perfectly grill my steak - with the grill lid CLOSED!

Dear Specialized Bikes - I can’t believe you’re only offering a 35% discount on a new frame for the problem with his $3,000ish carbon bike frame, that is not even a year old (maybe not even 6 mos.) There is no other visible damage to his bike, and you don’t even have the same color/same model for him to get again, and you’re offering even less of a discount for more expensive frame. Between 4 of us we own 8 Specialized bikes. We’ve been really good customers and you should treat him better than that!

Seriously, you joined a Facebook group for people living with stage 4 breast cancer? You’re stage 1, for heaven’s sake. It sure seems to me that you are going for the sympathy from your Facebook friends, who surely will think that you are much worse off than you are. It’s past time that you understand how fortunate you are to have caught it so early … time to turn your outlook around. I certainly can’t tell you this IRL, although your DIL did. She was right.

Sure, he doesn’t have a job with health insurance, but he does have a job that gets me all-access passes to Sphere so there’s that!
