It turns out I don’t like whiners with persecution complexes.
Maybe it’s just me. But to me when you are “interviewing” someone for a job, you have to let them talk once in a while!
Why do nestling (baby) robins have to fall out of their nest? I found three last night on our lawn. I located the nest, too, and it is not large enough for them, so I made a “nest” for them with shredded paper towel and an old Cool Whip tub. The parents are either dead or have abandoned them – either way, they have not been tending to them. Checked on them this morning and the smallest had died. The second died earlier this morning (I checked with my wife, who’s a teacher and is at home). The third and strongest one has no hope unless the parents either return soon or the nearby sparrows decide to help out. This blows, but I’ve done what I thought I could for those little chicks. They had no chance on our lawn, baking in the sun and open to predators.
I know that overall I have a very nice life, but today is a pretty bad day.
My organization is going through a major reorg, and I have to find a new job. Just found out today that I was not selected for any positions during the first round.
My mom started taking drugs for dementia today.
It’s not how long you live, it’s how you live your life.
Tired of feeling upset about the rain on this expensive and once in a lifetime trip.
Trying to be happy or at least appreciative.
We have felt bored. Never would have expected this.
Should one be appreciative or creeped out by big brother when multiple random websites wish you a happy birthday?
I realised in the last few days how very unhappy I am. I really need to find a way to stop just dreaming and make some drastic change. If only money was not such an issue. Sigh.
Once again school is putting athletic recognition before academic recognition- always frustrating.

Why in the world did you report us to the county for an inoperable and/or unregistered car? It’s parked on our property, is operable, is registered, and is insured. Just because you see it in the same spot most of the time and it needs a bath, doesn’t mean we don’t ever drive it. It’s our extra car and use it for very short runs to the store and such. And, it’s going to get dirty parked outside all of the time, especially while we’re trying to conserve water. It was easy since you are going to be kept anonymous, wasn’t it?
Now we have to deal with the county and this warning when we did nothing wrong. Fun fun fun.
I’ve asked you many many times to pul-eeze keep the cover on the hot tub. This is not a big deal or a hardship. It’s common sense. Do you really want the neighbor’s two-year-old wandering over here and drowning?
You date my son, encourage him on, he cooks for you, …, then u move on, no longer interested, but talk about all your dates from on line dating at lab lunch. Are you cruel? Insensitive? My son isn’t a friends-with-benefits person. He is so hurt.
