Stop enabling your college grad children. Stop giving your college grad $3000 a month to attend concerts, go shopping, visit friends, and eat out every day. Stop telling her it is ok to wait for the perfect job to come along. Stop making excuses for her unwillingness to send out resumes. Stop enabling your other child by telling her that if she does not like the work at her 8 week internship, she can quit. I recognize that your behavior is none of my business but it is frustrating to watch and is making me crazy.

You are so stressed that I fear you’ll stroke out before your parents die, and yet you are unwilling/unable to set boundaries, seek counseling, exercise, or take any action beyond snapping at me and letting it eat you alive.

We got a sweet note from Harvard Pilgrim telling us they’ve requested an 18.7% rate increase for 2017 health insurance premiums. Isn’t that something? Kind of them to let me know now, so I can worry for six months.

Two friends, both with breast cancer, in late sixties. Both so healthy. Exercising, a nurse, a teacher, did everything right. Just hard.
