The couples group event tonight at our church went great. H and I helped set up. Dinner was good - we knew several people at our table and met new folks - PhD in chemistry guy was sitting next to H, so H could talk about his big chemistry set during his fascination with chemistry growing up. H was flinching/twitching when I signed us up for group assignment; didn’t complain even on the way home. Eventually H will get comfortable enough with the guys/gals - even if he won’t admit he had a good time or even just a decent time.
So, even though we know you we showed up at your 3-6. party at 4. You were busy with landscape issues until 6. Food was finally served at 7:45. 50 guests done with nibbles and wanting meat, all of which was in your smoker until you were ready to serve. Why do we keep going t your parties? Oh yes, because we love you.

After 20 years of you being the HOA police, you put your house on the market and stab an ad in my yard pointing toward your house? You have policed all your neighbors to not do exactly this?
STOP hitting up your mom for money. You are all adults, you know she has limited income and limited funds. When you hit her up for a big check, for your current crisis of the week/month/year, she calls H and asks what to do. You’ve turned your sibling into a gate keeper - a job which will only make him out to be the bad guy.
Frankly, your a bunch of selfish putzes.
First day of school prayer: Lord, give me more patience and less judgment. Help me spread intelligence and an appreciation of education.
Another sumer vacation coming to an end. I am dreading that long flight on Sunday.

Watching the clock until I am out of here on vacation.
Just got back from vacation and not feeling the love for work. All I’m seeing is an old boss who thinks he’s still the boss, praising me in public- what a great ! job you are doing while telling people behind my back that I’m horrible at what I do.
Seriously thinking about changing jobs. My motto has always been that when work stops being fun, challenging or exciting then it’s time to change. For 12 years I have enjoyed coming to work. The last two weeks have been horrible. Hopefully our reorganization in October will provide good change? Otherwise I need to rethink the limits to which I’m willing to commute…
