My thoughts are with the Italian earthquake victims. So sad to see the damage on the evening news and to hear of the rising death count. 
Well, that flight cancellation led to an absolutely crappy day for both of us. And probably for a lot of other people too.

I wish school sports were different.
Nowadays every kid has to dedicate their life playing a sport year round, and coaches seem to think academics and jobs can fall by the wayside. Odds are, after HS and college graduation the time spent on sports will amount to nothing.
Can’t you just let kids have fun?

So as XH’s step-sister, the last few years you want to be considered part of my children’s family and be included in all the immediate family celebrations for their weddings, but you’ve never given either of them a wedding gift. It’s not the amount of a gift, it’s the lack of thoughtfulness for them that annoys me so very much. For both weddings, they had to eliminate people they really care about for you to be included in some events. X(

I’m sorry you were offended when I asked about your son’s waitstaff job at a local chain restaurant. At least he’s working. You say it’s a sore spot with you after you spent so much on his education in a field he could have studied at an in-state public for less than half the cost. And I’m sure it’s a little disappointing when kids like my son who went to the in-state public get good jobs right out of school. Heck, at least your son finished his degree. That’s more than some of their friends have done. Lighten up!
I cannot believe you changed the 401k plan. After I spent so much time finding the best plan a couple years ago you went and switched without a word to me. With your uneducated decision you have violated at least two provisions of ERISA .I am so tempted to file a complaint with the DOL. Perhaps it’s just time for me to leave…

Good grief, nothing like spotting your own stupid mistake three days later. Yes, I actually do know the difference between ‘ascribe’ and ‘subscribe.’
So I spend all this time and energy looking for just the right granite slabs and find out that I picked the pattern with typically the highest radiation. I may just go w/ quartz - this is getting very frustrating.
