No one at our table cared that our device was streaming the game on slight delay and that YOU knew the outcome already.
It wasn’t nice of you to butt in, uninvited, & spoil the ending for us, even if the outcome we were hoping for would have involved a miracle shot at the buzzer.

Okay, I’ve now completed 4 different maneuvers to fix my system problem. Number 4 was a last ditch effort. If this doesn’t work it’s going to be a royal PITA to go thru all the data and apps to find out who is causing the problems. Please, just work.

What kind of idiot decided that having a 12v recessed light in that lonely place was the greatest thing to have!? And what kind of idiot installed the transformer somewhere I can’t get to without a major drywall excavation?! Now, I have to find a can conversion kit that fits the hole, does not come with a built in transformer, and looks halfway decent!!! Aaargh.
I think they are going to have to name the baby giraffe “Patience” because mine is gone waiting for it’s arrival!
Great move by our town to pave all of the road except the middle stripes! Trying to save a few pennies by not repainting?? Well, now the water/ice is getting under the pavement and asphalt is spalling off rapidly. Brilliant. I’m glad my kids are out of school, since I used to drive that road every day.
Of all the places to go to grad school, you pick the one city where he has long stated that he wants to move post-graduation. I hope this is just an unfortunate coincidence and that you’re not turning all Fatal Attraction on him. It’s over. You need to move on. Last night’s histrionics only confirm that he made the right decision.
S18 is getting a junior academic award! So happy for him. I will admit, I must have read the envelope 6 times wondering if the school really meant to send the invite to him. Now, I’ll be wondering which class it is from until the end of April.
On another note, D16 and friends made it back from their Spring Break hiking trip in one piece. As long as kids are healthy and happy all is A ok.
Sometimes having more girls than boys in college is not as fantastic as one can think; all the good roommates offers are from girls and i m not a girl. Darn.
Look, I really don’t need this right now. I warned you last week that funds were running low. I even skipped the sewage bill so we would have more money and we still are running short due to some higher than expected expenses. And you get all pouty and self-pitying on me. I need a small amount from savings and you act like I asked for the moon. You blame all this on me and expect me to pull money out of my @$$ at the drop of a hat, and I can’t. I’m sick of it. I’m adjusting to a lot of stuff right now also, and have had several personal disappointments over the past eight weeks or so. Just get over it and have some consideration for someone besides yourself.
I found a good cockatiel breeder and am hoping to get two young birds in a couple of weeks. 
The two we have could never be replaced, but it will be nice to have new cockatiels in our office again.

So sad reading about students who are getting bum advice from parents and counselors and (also some younger posters) trying to plan belatedly with not enough understanding of finances or how they fare academically against those who are likely to be classmates. Kids and parents so attached to the dream of getting an out of state college education regardless of crushing debt.
Funny joke, God. I asked You to let me live long enough to see the concert when I bought the tickets six months ago. Now the concert is passed, and it truly was a highlight of my life. What I wasn’t expecting was that the test I took the next day revealed a serious heart problem that, in fact, may end my life. But thank You for giving me this life and these experiences for the time that You did bless me with.
Just heard a rumor that I put my house for sale and bought a place on the most expensive lake in the state. I’m wondering who died and left me a fortune!
