Seven members of my husband’s family informed me today that they will not be coming to the sedar - there were to be 11 of us. I know have food for 11 and 4 people at my table. Well, tomorrow my FDIL and her family, along with my eldest son’s BFF will be joining us. But of course I had another whole meal planned for Tuesday, so leftovers anyone.
I have enjoyed the " National Siblings Day " photos today on FB , but it just occurred to me that this is a painful day for people I know that have lost siblings or are estranged from them.
Finally got a new car to replace the 12-year old beater and in the first week, I spill a milkshake all over. I’m an idiot.
Oh heavens! He just now realizes that he has had the wrong email address on his resume… for the past year. 
I leave the office for a few days and you do THIS?! You don’t have a clue, so you should probably not make any decisions about my area of expertise when I am gone. Have fun digging yourself out of the hole you are in. Or do you even realize that you are in over your head? Oh, yeah, not a problem. I am back and will be here every night until 8 or 9, fixing things. And then you will talk about how hard “we all” work. Right.
I planned the event to suit what you wanted and on your schedule, then you sign up for a conflicting event without even letting me know. So I now am on the hook to do this even though you were the one that wanted it to happen. I am so sick of this!
Ok, time to grow up a little and take the wheel. I’ve guided you this far (and happily) but I’m ready to move on to my next project!

Why can’t we stop seeing the tired list of what school is best thread? The best school is the one your kid got admitted to and will earn him or her head and shoulders above what kids who don’t go to college will earn (on average). Let’s please stop the which is best, Princeton or Harvard threads? or rank 'em…Harvard, Princeton, Yale.
